In this module I have found new and exciting things. I think inserting pictures into a blog is really cool. Students in my class can use this and be creative to submit a picture of choice. Inserting a hyperlink is very useful to click to existing links to have other people visit additional sites. These couple of things I really enjoyed, but I am sure there are many more of which I am not aware. Does anyone want to relate any information concerning this module?

My personal reflection of Google Docs has been enjoyable. The reason I have stated my experience to be enjoyable, because of the knowledge I have gained. I did not realize the benefits of Google Docs. I believe it to be an online processor. I can invite collaborators, we can edit on line, go paperless, see immediate changes on line. This can be useful for students to access my documents from any place 24/7. The revision history can allow me to see individual edits of what has been added or deleted. I can revert to an older version at any point. This can all be accomplished in real time simultaneously. Another feature that is awesome, is control access. In this feature you as teacher can choose who sees the documents. These are the things I learned and with amazement. Is there some one out there that can teach me more about Google Docs?
Module 3 Subject: Blogs January 8, 2010

My personal reflection of Blogs was some what frustrating at first. I was frustrated because I had difficulty getting back in to WordPress. I guess the password the computer gave me was expired and I had to start all over. However, I am enjoying the experience because I am learning something different and at times it is a challenge to a degree. I have a competitive nature so at times I enjoy a challenge. I have an idea of how to use this in my classroom teaching 6th grade Social Studies. I have taught these kids how to create an outline on a particular lesson on each chapter, so therefore I can have the students get on to WordPress and complete the outline. We will be able to review, edit, link, collaborate, and take ownership with the assignment of completing an outline. What I have learned is a whole new way of exploring different ways of introducing technology in my classroom. I have discovered ways to communicate to students and the rest of the world in a whole new light. I understand I have to get real familiar with this application to be effective, but I am willing to reach out to students. I can also communicate with others from other parts of the world to enhance my instruction. My selfish part also leads me to say I can create another blog and assist my businesses. I really enjoy working on muscle cars. I meet a lot of people on ebay buying and trading parts. I can easily use this to help my business.
